My winter break just started and it is going great. =D I’ve been feeling so high lately. It’s this random happiness and I hope it lasts forever. Yesterday was a bit of an adventure. Though it may seem like an average trip to the mall, things get a lot less average when the person driving has no clue what they’re doing. Not to mention the fact that it was raining and foggy… oh and it gets better… we had no idea how to get there. xD Ohh life is great. My friend, the reckless driver, sped through a dozen red lights and was switching lanes like crazy. It was fun fun. You would think that I pissed in my pants outta fear but we survived and that’s all that matters.

Now my days consist of lazing around my house in an ugly green winter coat. No one can see me anyway!! >=D So I’ll be updating with a lot more content and articles for you lovelies out there.

New layout guys!!! It’s christmas inspired. I tried to go for the simple look but I think it looks a little too simple. You can tell I got lazy with the CSS, I’ll probably tweak it some more.  Oh right, my contact form wasn’t working earlier but it should be fine now.

So you might know that this is a personal blog/graphics site but I’m trying to stray away from the typical “lyk omg today i did this and that and blah blah blah.” Here at Idiotbox, I want to share with you, reviews, advice, tips and tricks, my philosophical tidbits and yes I will update my day-to-day activities (probably more often than I would like).

I’m a bit of a freak when it comes to buying junk especially for my face. I read every single review and compare products and all that jazz. Some of the topics that I’ll cover include beauty, music, movies, books, graphics,  site-related things, money,  fashion, crafts, cooking and etc. I can’t really describe my style but if you like what you see come back for more of me!!!

Life:
Happy Belated Thanksgiving and I must say, the ham I cooked was pretty awesome. I decided not to go black friday shopping considering how very very poor I am. I’m literally down to my last few dollars O_O and I absolutely refuse to ask my mom for money so job hunting it is. You would think that I’m saving my money like crazy but since my very bestest friend is back home for the holidays and my other friends just got out of school, I couldn’t pass up the wonderful opportunity to spend some good ole quality time with them on Wednesday. Haha why do I sound so gay? Anyways we ate at Cosi (the fancy version of subways) and watched Ninja Assassin which sucked. What didja expect? But I’m a sucker for action movies no matter how bad the plot is. Then went to Dave and Busters and played pretty much everything, (bowling, pool, arcade). Afterwards her brother wanted to hang out and drink with his friends and we tagged along. Watching guys play medal of honor is pretty damn entertaining, pizza is a plus too. So that was part of my holiday vacation so far. How was yours?

This is the third week of college for me and I must say, it’s fricken crazy. I can honestly say I never had any real guy friends before but for some reason when I get to college the only people I talk to are guys. No, none of them are madly in love with me; that would be pretty scary. I went to my very first party with my friend’s friend and all I can say is that he’s really affectionate when he’s drunk and I guess I’m really easy when I’m tipsy. Nothing serious happened but it’s super awkward and he’s being weird so I started ignoring him now he might feel annoyed that I’m ignoring him. But wait, there’s more. Well not really.

There’s this other guy that I’ve known for the longest time but I HATED him soooo much. He recently broke up with his girlfriend of like 6 years (middle school+high school= they went out FOREVER O_O), and now he’s more tolerable. I guess since he’s always had a girl around he feels like he needs to know where I am all the time. During breaks I’ll probably run off and hang out with someone else and he’ll call asking me where I am and come over. It gets kinda annoying.

I thought having guy friends would be fun.

Well…. there is this one guy in my calc class. He’s awesome. Haha BE MY FRIEND RANDOM KID IN CALC!!!!!!!!

Hey site’s not officially opened yet. There’s a lot of kinks I need to work out and pages I need to write, but I just wanted to blog a bit.

Today’s the third day I’ve spent in college, classes didn’t start yet but I’ve been in my room so much. I’m loving this whole “I’m independent and I’m responsible for myself” thing.  I really thought I would be crawling back home or die of starvation. The thing I don’t like is how much money I needed to come here.  I’m dorming when I could be commuting that would save me 12 grand but no my persistence persuaded my mom to let me dorm when she didn’t know how much it would cost us. Now I’m being frugal and stealing food from all the random events they have here.

Conversations with people are generally like this:

Me: Hey what’s up.

Him/Her: Nothing much I’m just going to this meeting hosted by the Jewish club.  You want to come?

Me:  Nah, I’m not Jewish  and I’m not into joining religious clubs.

Him/Her:  Me neither I’m just going for the free smoothies.

Me: Wait, you said free? I’m so there.  Where was this meeting again?

Yeahhhhh by the end of the year I better get 12 grand worth of free crap.
